Privacy Policy

RAW+JPG Cull ("the App") is a photo culling tool for iPhone and iPad. Your privacy is central to how the App works. This policy explains what data the App accesses, and what it does not.

Data we do not collect

The App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of the following:

• Photos, RAW files, JPEGs, HEIC files, or previews
• Ratings, flags, colour labels, or XMP sidecar contents
• Filenames, folder paths, or SD-card / USB volume identifiers
• Device identifiers, IDFA, IP address, or advertising IDs
• Location data, contacts, calendar, or health data
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind

There are no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, attribution, A/B testing, or crash reporting embedded in the App.

Data the App accesses locally

To perform its function, the App reads files from a folder or external volume (SD card, USB reader) that you explicitly pick using the system file picker. Access is granted via Apple's security-scoped bookmarks and is limited to what you select.

Specifically, the App may:

• Read image files (RAW, JPG, HEIC) and their embedded metadata (EXIF, existing XMP)
• Write .xmp sidecar files next to the source photos to store your ratings and flags
• Create a _Rejects/ subfolder inside your working folder if you use the "Move to rejects" action
• Delete files when you explicitly confirm deletion

All of these operations happen on-device, on the disk you chose. Nothing is copied off your device.

Network access

The App does not make network requests. It works fully offline.

Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
