Privacy Policy

What data we collect

None. The app has no backend, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no telemetry. We do not know and do not want to know how you use the app.

Your files

All PDF documents, images, and processing results stay on your device:

• Imported files are copied to a temporary folder (tmp/imports)
• Results are saved to Documents/recents on your device only
• Extracted OCR text is written to .txt files in the same place
• Nothing is uploaded to the internet — the app is fully offline

You can delete any result in the Documents tab. The app automatically removes old files after N days if enabled in Settings.

Permissions

The app requests permissions only when the related feature is actually used:

• Files — to open a PDF you pick from iCloud/Files
• Photos — to read photos when creating a PDF from photos and to save extracted images
• Haptics — subtle vibration as feedback on actions

Permissions are used locally. Data accessed via them is never transmitted anywhere.

Third-party services

The app uses no third-party services, analytics SDKs, ad networks, or CDNs. The only external components are Apple system frameworks (PDFKit, Vision, PencilKit, PhotosUI) which run locally on the device.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages (4+). We collect no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)

Since we collect no data, there are no requests to send us: we have no data about you to access, modify, or delete.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL. Changes take effect from the update date.
